When the gun debuted, I wrote up a quick synopsis of my very short evaluation (i.e. - I handled the damn thing for a few minutes only, no live firing) and was left to conclude that while probably like most Ruger products, it being well built, the trigger was probably amongst the worst I’ve ever felt. Things may have changed for the better, but I’d take the worst 1911 trigger over the SR9 any time.
I’d even go so far as to say that compared to all of my personal pistols, it would have scored at the very bottom, and I have quite a collection of DA and DAO guns from Europe, where heavy DA stuff has been the norm for longer than either of us has been alive.

I like green guns, and black ones and brown ones and silvery ones…but I’m not too sure about Glocks.
