First Impressions

Wow, I have a lot to learn. Wordpress is awesome, but very complicated. So far I am really, really liking it. Blogger was OK, but its capabilities are lacking compared to this software. Most of the items in my sidebar are widgets, which is great because I don’t have to code anything for them to work. The only problem I have run into is you can only have one “links” widget, which I am using for my blogroll right now. So, I am either going to have to settle with that, find a different widget to use, or kick it old school.
The interface for Wordpress is very well refined. I have been able to figure out a lot very quickly. If anyone else is thinking about making the jump to a privately hosted blog, I would recommend it so far.
